Last night, the Friends of RIA (FoRIA) held their “Come Home to the Avenue” holiday reception at Art Enables. The event included a jazz ensemble (the Greater U Street Jazz Collective), a silent auction with so many great items donated by area businesses (even a great wine basket donated by the Insider), desserts, drinks, and a slide show on continuous loop that showed the past, present, and potential future of RIA NE.
