Well, it appears that the current rumor circulating is that the proposed nightclub at 2066 RIA NE seems to have thrown in the towel, and have gotten out of their lease for that location.

Per ANC Nolan:

Great news!!! This morning I got word that the folks who wanted to open up a nightclub at 2066 Rhode Island Ave have gotten out of their lease with the property owner and WILL NOT be trying to open a nightclub at that location.

As noted in Nolan’s email to the neighborhood, his only hesitancy in giving up totally is that we have not yet heard about the withdrawal of their liquor license application.
