The City Paper reported today that the city has released new drawings for Chuck Brown Park in Langdon without the proposed amphi-theater that was originally to hold 900 people (later scaled to 200).

As this blog reported in the past, residents near the park complained about the proposed music venue and the noise it would produce. The park will now feature a statue of Chuck Brown instead. The current venue that is at the park will be demolished.
