The Friends of RIA (FoRIA) are hosting their second annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 5 from noon to 4pm. Like last year, this event is hosted along Rhode Island Ave between 20th Street NE and South Dakota Ave NE and will include local businesses, entertainment, food, drinks, and many other vendors. Last year was a huge success for the organization and I am sure the organization can only anticipate an even better event this year! The Fall Fest is meant to not only showcase the Avenue but to also bring the local community together, including Brookland, Langdon, Woodridge, and so many more! So mark your calendars now, and plan to stop by!
